Patrons Scheme

The patron’s scheme allows residents to make an annual contribution to the Hall’s funds.  It also enables the hall to claim, as a registered charity, some tax rebates where the donor is a tax payer.  The scheme makes a substantial contribution to the costs of running the hall—some £2100 in the last financial year.  This means that the hire rates charged to the community are lower than they would otherwise have to be to cover operational costs. It also allows people who maybe cannot make a time commitment to running the hall to nevertheless support this important community resource.

Most payments are made through Direct Debits in February of each year, although any form of payment and timing is permitted under the scheme.

Ray Evans administrates the Patrons’ scheme on behalf of the committee.
